Local Road and Heath Race in Poole
The May 5 is a local running event that takes place on a Sunday in mid-May. The course covers a distance of 5 miles and leads participants around the area of Canford Heath. The event is open to individual runners as well as members of different running clubs who wish to compete against one another.
The race utilizes the Ashdown Athletics Track as both the starting point and the finishing area. This location provides a designated space for spectators to observe the participants as they complete the course. The event is open to participants who are at least 15 years old on the day of the race.
Specific safety and operational regulations are in place for all participants. The use of headphones is not permitted during the race. Additionally, for safety reasons, dogs and buggies are prohibited on the course.
The entry process includes different fee tiers based on affiliation:

- 5 miles (Affiliated to UKA)
