Event overview
The Maverick Dorset Trail 2026 takes place on Saturday 13 June 2026 at Wilkswood Farm, Swanage, Dorset, UK. The event is organised by Maverick Race and is held on coastal and inland trails near the Jurassic coastline. Registration is organised on-site and race numbers are collected at registration; nothing is sent in advance. The venue offers free parking, a fully marked course, timing and online results. Outpost provision:
- Short route: no outpost
- Middle route: one outpost at approximately 10 km
- Half Marathon: two outposts at approximately 10 km and 19 km
Outposts provide snacks, gels and electrolyte drink. There will be no pre-filled water cups; participants are asked to bring a reusable cup or bottle and use self-serve water barrels. There are no toilets along the running routes; toilets are available in the start/finish area. Headphones are strongly discouraged.
