The Masher 5K Fun Run
The Masher 5K Fun Run takes place on October 17, 2026 at the Food + Farm Exploration Center in Plover, WI (3400 Innovation Drive). The event is a community run or walk with a scenic route that leads to Lake Pacawa Park, includes three laps around the water, and returns to the Center to cross the finish line beneath the World’s Largest Potato Masher.
Registration fees are listed as Early Bird $35 available through September 30, 2026 and Standard $40 from October 1 through the morning of the race. Participants who register by September 26, 2026 are guaranteed a finisher t-shirt. All proceeds support hands-on learning and agricultural literacy for students across Wisconsin.
The event offers flexible options, including a shortened route that participants may choose to complete at their own pace. Strollers are permitted on the course; wagons and pets are not allowed. A post-race party is held as part of the National Mashed Potato Day Celebration and includes a loaded mashed potato bar, potato sculpting contests, a bounce house, field tours, and specials in the Colorful Plate Café.
