The Mark Mahon 5K
The Mark Mahon 5K is a community running event held in Rathwood, Tullow, County Carlow. The course uses the same route as the Parkrun 5K and accommodates runners, walkers and joggers as well as spectators.
The event is held in memory of Mark Mahon and raises funds for CRY Ireland (Cardiac Risk in the Young). All proceeds are directed to CRY Ireland.
Event features include a bespoke medal reserved for the first 300 registrations, and embroidered beanies offered in five colours as an optional purchase. Defence Forces trophies are awarded to first, second and third place finishers.
