THE LOOP - Can you beat THE LOOP
THE LOOP is a timed loop challenge held at Millennium House, Pensilva. Participants have six hours to complete as many laps as possible on a roughly 1 mile loop. Individual laps have no set time limit; the overall event time limit determines rewards.
Every starter receives a Silver Loop wristband. A Gold Loop wristband is awarded to participants who complete 26 laps within the event time limit. Official event T shirts are available to purchase separately; the shirt is described as a black technical T shirt with The Loop branding on front and back.
Entries open on 1 October 2026 and close on 14 January 2027. The published entry fee is £26.00. All profits from the event go to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Race procedures include registering at event registration to collect wristbands and running numbers, and reporting each lap to the lap counter desk. A lap will not be counted if it is not registered, and running numbers must be visible. Participants may run, jog, or walk, and must follow marshal instructions and local parking guidance.
THE LOOP is described as a fun run challenge rather than a competitive road race. Participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit and for following the event rules and safety instructions.
