THE LONGEST LIGHT : Spokane, WA
THE LONGEST LIGHT is an endurance event organized by Phase One Missions at multiple training grounds around Spokane, including Seven Mile, Riverside State Park, and Mt Spokane State Park. The event offers several multi-lap races staged from a central location near West 7-Mile Road in Spokane, Washington.
Distances and formats include:
- 101 Miler: 65 laps, 101.4 miles, 1.56 mile lap, 32 hour cutoff
- 100 Kilometer: 40 laps, 100 km, 1.56 mile lap, 24 hour cutoff
- 50 Kilometer: 20 laps, 50 km, 1.56 mile lap, 24 hour cutoff
- 10K Run/Ruck: 4 laps, 6.24 miles, no cutoff, ruck limit 45 pounds
- Kiddo Sprint: about 0.6 miles, hill 0.3 miles from start, parents may join
A main aid station will be semi-stocked with Tailwind Endurance Fuel, NeverSecond C30 energy gels, 1st Phorm protein bars and energy drinks, plus water and snack options. Tailwind is listed as the event’s official liquid nutrition sponsor. Runners are encouraged to be largely self-sufficient and to carry required gear such as a head lamp, food, water, and electrolytes.
Crew access includes space for tents in a designated parking area. Check-in is available at designated locations before race day. Participants receive a Phase One training tee; finishers earn event recognition items, including a Phase One Buckle for completing the 101 miles. The event currently has a no refunds policy.
