THE LONGEST LIGHT // 101 - June 20, 2026
THE LONGEST LIGHT is an endurance event staged by Phase One in Spokane, WA. The event uses Phase One training grounds around the area, including the Reardan Cross Country track in Seven Mile, Riverside State Park, and Mt Spokane State Park.
Distances and format include:
- 101 Miler: 65 laps, 1.56 miles per lap, 101.4 miles, 32 hour cutoff
- 100 Kilometer: 40 laps, 1.56 miles per lap, 24 hour cutoff, Phase One Buckle
- 50 Kilometer: 20 laps, 1.56 miles per lap, 24 hour cutoff, Phase One token
- 10K Run or Ruck: 4 laps, 6.24 miles total, ruck limit 45 pounds, no cutoff
- Kiddo Sprint The Hill: about 0.6 miles total, hill about 0.3 miles from the start
There is one semi-stocked main aid station offering Tailwind Endurance Fuel, NeverSecond C30 energy gels, 1st Phorm protein bars and energy drinks, plus water and snacks. Runners are encouraged to be self sufficient for food and electrolytes.
Crew access includes space for tents in a designated section of the parking lot. Required gear lists a head lamp, running gear, food, water, and electrolytes. Every registrant receives a Phase One Training Tee; completing the listed distances earns the event awards noted above. Volunteer discounts are available in exchange for event service hours.
