Event overview

The Livingston Relays is a road relay event in the Midlands that was first run in 1928. It takes place at Mallory Park Racing Circuit, Church Rd, Kirkby Mallory, LE9 7QE. The course is an accurately measured, classic 3-mile loop around the circuit. The route is traffic-free and described as having a smooth running surface with room for overtaking and space for spectators.

Race format and prizes

Teams compete over legs of 3 miles in several categories: men (4 x 3 miles), women (3 x 3 miles), vets men 40+ (4 x 3 miles), vets women 40+ (3 x 3 miles), U15 boys (3 x 3 miles) and U15 girls (3 x 3 miles). A prize is awarded to the fastest leg in each category. Entry is by team and the entry form requires the team manager or lead contact; all event communication is sent to that individual. Runners’ names and UKA numbers must be declared 45 minutes prior to the race start. A £2 surcharge applies on the day for athletes who are not UKA registered.

Practical information
