Event details
The Leeds Winter Warmer Run at Temple Newsam, Leeds (LS15 0AE) offers three distances:
- 5k (one lap)
- 10k (two laps)
- Half marathon (four laps plus an initial 1.6 km section)
The event supports the charity Shelter; fundraising is optional with no minimum target. Entry fees rise on 2 January 2026 and online entries close on 14 February 2026 unless the event sells out. Race entries are chip timed using a chip-on-bib system; race numbers must be visible on an outer garment for timing.
Course and event services
The course is hilly and runs on paths and trails around Temple Newsam. Current conditions are reported as very muddy in parts, so trail shoes are recommended. Off-road buggies are permitted; the course is not suitable for wheelchair users. Water is supplied in cups only (no bottled water); participants who need a bottle should bring one. Bag storage is available but limited. Toilets, coffee and snacks are located in the event hub on the estate grass section. All finishers receive a medal; some trophies are awarded to winners.
