The Larix
The Larix takes place on October 3, 2026, at 2680 Mount Baldy Road, Bridesville, BC, Canada. The event is an expansion of the inaugural 2025 race and offers two distances that run on trails around Baldy Mountain.

Both races start just shy of the base area and ascend to the peak of Baldy Mountain. The 10 km course climbs from the village base to the peak and features roughly 600 m of elevation gain and loss with no time cap. The 21 km route follows the same initial climb, then continues across almost every trail on the mountain, including single track, double track, and wide open fields; it includes a looped section that is passed twice and a portion that leads to the Sugarlump area. The course offers extensive valley and mountain views along much of its route.
There are two aid stations on course, including one station that participants pass through twice in both races. The event uses professional timing with a gun start and a finish line at the base area in front of the main lodge. Sponsors for the 2026 edition include Bio Steel, Da Silva Winery, Backroads Brewing Co, Firehall Brewery, Good Protein, and Abandoned Rail Brewing Co.
