About the race
The Larix is a trail race held on October 3, 2026, at 2680 Mount Baldy Road, Bridesville, BC, Canada. The event expanded in 2026 from its 2025 inaugural year, which featured a 10 km route from just shy of the base area to the peak of Baldy Mountain.
Distances:
- 10 km
- 21 km
The 10 km route climbs from the base area to the mountain peak and records just over 600 m of elevation gain and loss. The 2026 program adds a 21 km option that follows the same initial climb and then continues across additional trails, with sections of single track, double track and wide open fields. The 21 km course includes a circular section that is run twice before continuing toward the Sugarlump area.
There are two aid stations on course. One aid station is passed twice by both the 10 km and 21 km races. The event uses professional timing with a gun start and a finish line located at the base area in front of the main lodge. Sponsors for the season include Bio Steel, Da Silva Winery, Backroads Brewing Co, Firehall Brewery, Good Protein and Abandoned Rail Brewing Co.
