Get Lost Trail Race - Tonasket, WA
The Get Lost Trail Race is the annual fundraising event for the Okanogan Highlands Alliance (OHA). Events are based at the Lost Lake Group Camp near Tonasket, Washington, with race courses that use trails on OHA conserved property around Lost Lake.
Race fees are collected for OHA. Each fee includes race participation, a post-race meal, entry into the post-race raffle, an optional group campsite for Saturday night, and a complimentary one-year OHA membership. There is an option to add an additional donation during registration, and donations can also be made directly to OHA without registering.
Camping logistics note that the Lost Lake Group Camp is reserved for families of racers and volunteers, while individual campsites are available on a first come, first serve basis for a stated nightly fee. Aid and water stations will be located at the group camp and at the top of Strawberry Mountain, and volunteers with radios will be positioned at key course locations. Volunteers are invited to assist with weekend activities and course operations.
The event weekend includes pre-race course preparation, an OHA membership meeting and potluck, a kids 1k fun run that is free with no registration required, and post-race lunch and raffle for registered participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
