Get Lost Trail Race : Tonasket, WA
The Get Lost Trail Race is the annual fundraising event for the Okanogan Highlands Alliance (OHA). The event takes place at the Lost Lake Group Camp and includes multiple trail distances for runners and walkers. Race fees go directly to OHA and each registration includes race participation, a post race meal, entry into the post race raffle, optional Saturday night group camping, and a complimentary one year membership to OHA. There is also an option to add an extra donation during registration or to donate directly without registering.
Course support includes an aid station at the group camp, water stations at the group camp and the top of Strawberry Mountain, and volunteers positioned with radios at key locations. OHA has reserved the USFS Lost Lake Group for families of racers and volunteers on Saturday night; individual campsites are available on a first come, first serve basis for a fee.
Weekend activities include volunteer course clearing and signage, an OHA membership meeting and potluck on Saturday, and race day programming on Sunday with day of registration, a course volunteer meeting, multiple race starts, a free 1k kids fun run with no registration required, noon lunch for volunteers and registered racers, a raffle, and a course sweep. Event apparel is sold through a fundraising vendor and proceeds support OHA.
