Logistics for the weekend include a reserved group campsite for families of racers and volunteers and individual campsites available first-come, first-served for a stated nightly fee. Aid and water stations are located at the group camp and at the top of Strawberry Mountain, and volunteers with radios will be positioned at key locations on the course. The event program includes course clearing and signage, an OHA membership meeting and potluck, day-of registration and bib pickup, a free 1k kids fun run with no registration required, lunch for registered participants and volunteers, a raffle, and a course sweep.
The Lost Lake area features a medium-sized lake, forested mountains, streams, diverse wildlife, and trails used by the races. OHA has acquired and preserves land in the Lost Lake area, and parts of the race course traverse this protected property. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
