Aid and water stations are located at the group camp and at the top of Strawberry Mountain, and volunteers with radios are positioned at key points on the course.
Event weekend includes course preparation, an OHA membership meeting, a potluck, day-of registration and bib pickup, and a free 1k kids fun run that does not require registration. Merchandise such as t shirts, tank tops, and sweatshirts is sold through a Bonfire storefront with proceeds supporting OHA.
The Lost Lake area features a medium sized lake, forested mountains, hiking trails, streams, and diverse wildlife. OHA purchased and protects adjacent wetland and forestland that the race routes traverse. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
