THE LAP - Windermere Ultra Clockwise

THE LAP - Clockwise is a fully way marked 47 miles trail ultra that circumnavigates Lake Windermere in a clockwise direction. The course is described as a low level Lakes route and participants have 24 hours to complete the circuit. It is open to both runners and walkers and has generous cut offs.

The route is predominantly on tracks, trail and single track, with some steeper fell paths and occasional short sections of quiet country road. Route way marking includes 2,500 arrows. A GPS tracker, map and GPX files are provided; a recce GPX is attached to the entry confirmation and the event GPX with permissive routes is sent in the final information email.

Event support includes five fully stocked feed stations, a halfway aid station with bag drop, a finishers meal irrespective of finish time and a locally sourced finishers medal. The published minimum age is 16 or older. The stated entry fee is £135.00. The event location is Low Cunsey Farm, Cunsey, Ambleside, Cumbria LA22 0LU.
