THE LAP - Windermere Ultra Clockwise is a fully way-marked trail ultra around Lake Windermere held 9–10 May 2026. The route distance is 47 miles / 75K and participants have 24 hours to complete one circuit of the lake. Route and event services
The course is predominantly on tracks, trail and single-track paths, with some steeper fell paths and short sections of quiet country road. The race uses over 2,000 route marking arrows and provides a GPS tracker, map and GPX files. There are five fully stocked aid stations, including a halfway feed station with a bag drop. All finishers receive a meal and a locally sourced finishers medal.
