The Landmark 5k - Lincolnton, NC
The Landmark 5k takes place on April 11, 2026 in Lincolnton, North Carolina. The listed event location is 129 E Pine St, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
Proceeds benefit Lincoln Landmarks, Inc., a non-profit organization that advocates for historic preservation in Lincoln County, promotes regional historic architecture, facilitates preservation easements and covenants, provides preservation resources for owners, and endorses best practices for rehabilitation and restoration of historic properties. Proceeds will also go toward the rehabilitation of Pleasant Retreat Academy, a brick building constructed in 1817 that stands at the corner of East Pine and North Academy Street.
Participants gather in the parking lot of the Pendleton Law Firm. The course follows the local rail trail out and back and finishes at First Federal Park.
Awards include 1st place overall male and female and 1st place in each age group. Age groups for male and female are: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. All finishers will receive a medal.
Guaranteed event t-shirt registration is by March 28. Student pricing applies at checkout for participants 17 and under. Packet pickup is scheduled Saturday morning from 6:30 to 7:30. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
