The Landmark 5k
The Landmark 5k is a community road race held in Lincolnton, North Carolina on 04/10/2027. Participants gather at First Federal Park and the course starts and finishes at the park on the rail trail. The distance is 3.1 miles.
Proceeds benefit Lincoln Landmarks, Inc., a nonprofit focused on historic preservation in Lincoln County. Funds will also support the rehabilitation of Pleasant Retreat Academy, a brick building from 1817 located at the corner of East Pine and North Academy Street.
Registration details include an entry fee of $30 and student pricing of $25 for participants 17 and under at checkout. Registration opens 04/18/2026 and closes 04/07/2027. Registrants who register by March 28 are guaranteed a t-shirt. Packet pickup is on race morning at First Federal Park from 6:30 to 7:30.
Awards are presented to the first place overall male and female finishers and to first place in each age group. Age groups for both male and female are 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus.
