The Landmark 5k
The Landmark 5k is a timed running event held in Lincolnton, North Carolina. The course begins and ends at First Federal Park, with the route situated on the local rail trail. This event serves as a benefit for Lincoln Landmarks, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to the historic preservation of Lincoln County. Proceeds contribute to the rehabilitation of the Pleasant Retreat Academy, the oldest brick building in Lincolnton, which dates back to 1817.
Participants compete in a single distance:

The event includes recognition for the first place overall male and female finishers. Additionally, awards are provided for the top male and female runners in several age categories, ranging from 14 and under to 80 and over. All finishers receive a commemorative medal. Participants who register by March 28 are guaranteed an event t-shirt.
Registration is available online until April 8, 2026. Student pricing is offered for participants aged 17 and under. Packet pickup is scheduled at the event location on the morning of the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
