Event Overview
The Land We Love Run takes place on Sunday, June 28, 2026, in Barrington, Illinois. The event is held at 28000 West Cuba Road and offers three main activities: a 5K Run/Walk, a 10K Run, and a 2-Mile Walk.
Registration and Fees
Early bird pricing is available until March 1. A race shirt is guaranteed for participants who register by June 15. There is a special discounted registration category for veterans and first responders.
Course and Awards
The 5K and 10K race routes are certified. Age group medals are awarded for the 5K and 10K runs in the following categories: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 & over.
Beneficiaries and Fundraising
The event raises funds for two organizations: Folds of Honor, which provides educational scholarships to military and first responder families, and the Cuba Township Food Pantry. Participants can fundraise individually or as teams, with the top individual and team fundraisers being recognized at the event.
Additional Information
Packet pickup is available before the event at the Cuba Township Offices on June 25 and 26. Race day packet pickup is also available. Teams must have a minimum of three members and all members must choose the same race distance (5K or 10K). The event is presented by the Village of Barrington Hills and Cuba Township.
