About the race
The JC Green is a road race held at Lincoln Park in Jersey City, NJ, offering multiple distances on a USATF-certified course that runs on paved roads, bridges, and park paths.

- 5K
The course is looped: the half consists of four loops of about 3.27 miles each, the 10K is two loops of about 3.1 miles each, and the 5K is a single 3.1-mile loop. Yellow signs with black arrows mark intersections and show which distance each sign applies to. There are three water stations per loop supplying water, Gatorade, and gels, and course support is provided throughout. Live tracking and live results with per-lap splits are available for participants and spectators.
Race services include race-day bib pickup (race day only, with a check-in code required), bag check, portable toilets at the start, and pre-race announcements. Every finisher receives a medal, a technical race shirt, a personalized race video, photos, and a race certificate. Awards include plaques for the top three overall finishers by gender in each distance and medals for the top three in each age group.
Event rules note that bibs must be worn on the front torso, participants must be at least six years old, the half marathon must be completed within three hours to remain eligible for awards, and bicycles, dogs, baby-joggers, and skates are not allowed on course.
