Course and Format

The course follows the orange blazes of the Florida National Scenic Trail’s west corridor. It is described as a "no-frills," rugged trail challenge through wilderness. There are no course markers; runners must navigate using the trail blazes. Every runner must download the course GPX file to a phone or watch and carry a phone during the race.

Logistics

Bib pickup occurs from 6:00 am to 6:50 am at the start line. There is a course cutoff at 7:15 pm. The finish line park closes at 8:00 pm. Transportation to the start line is each runner's responsibility, though organizers may arrange a shuttle van for uncrewed runners if there is enough interest.

Aid and Support

Three aid stations are provided on the course. One aid station, at mile 17.1, is also a drop bag location for runners without crew support. Crews can also access specific stops along the course. Participants are advised to plan their gear and fuel for a wilderness effort. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
