The Heartland Hustle is a community road and trail running event held in March in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The race is staged at Freeman Lake Park with the course routed on park trails near Freeman Lake. Distances offered include:

Race details
The start and finish are located at the Lions Club Pavilion adjacent to the new playground. Park access for race staging is recommended via the Old Freeman Lake Park Entrance. Packet pickup is available on race morning. Strollers are permitted and leashed, non-retractable pets are allowed on the course. Participants receive event items including a custom race hat, a branded drawstring backpack, and a finisher’s medal. The event is professionally timed with live results posted.
