The Headcorn Half Marathon

HEADCORN HALF MARATHON
This is a UKA approved and correctly measured half marathon covering 13.1 miles that starts and finishes on Days Green in Headcorn on the main A274. Once out of the village the route passes Smarden Bell, Egerton Forstal and Southernden before returning to Race HQ.
Most of the course is fairly flat, with a small rise at five miles and undulations between 8.5 to 10 miles. The field is capped at 500 runners; entries have reached this cap each year since the race began in 2014.
Race HQ is at Headcorn Primary School, Kings Road, Headcorn, Kent TN27 9QT, where registration and toilets are provided. Numbers and timing chips are not posted and must be collected at registration. Chip timing will be used for results.
Medals and trophies are awarded, including team and age group prizes. Entry fees are listed as £23 or £25 for advance entries and on the day entry is £30 cash only, subject to capacity. Online entries close at 8 pm on the preceding Thursday and pre race emails are sent within 48 hours. Recorded course bests are noted for male and female categories.
