The Great Scorpion Trail Run is scheduled for Saturday, January 3, 2026, in Meridian, Mississippi. The venue is Bonita Lakes Park at 66 Bonita Reservoir Road. The event offers these distances:

Course and logistics
The course uses single track and jeep trail and includes roots, rocks, and hills. Runners pass views through the trees of Bonita Lakes. The final section of single track on each loop is the Mardi Gras Trail, which features Mardi Gras beads and a downhill. Each loop passes RFID antennas to record split times. The parking area is located on the course, allowing on-course pit stops close to the trail. Course markings include red plastic plates with a scorpion logo, red and black flagging tape, neon green arrows, and markings sprayed on the ground.
Packet pickup is available Friday, January 2, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the race finish line at the Boat Landing area of Bonita Lakes Park. Race day packet pickup begins at 5:00 AM. Registration closes Friday, January 2 at 7:00 PM CT. Videos and past results are available for several prior years, including 2018 through 2025.
