The Great Scorpion Trail Run
The 10th Annual Great Scorpion Trail Run is scheduled for January 9, 2027, at Bonita Lakes Park in Meridian, Mississippi. Registration opens April 25 and a promo code YEAR10 provides a ten dollar discount on Opening Day.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 50K
- 25K
- 12.5K
The event benefits the National Alopecia Areata Foundation. RFID chip timing is provided by Time 2 Run. The setting is described as family friendly, and parking is allowed on the course for personal aid stations. Organizers list sponsors including Tailwind Nutrition and Total Rehab MS.
Organizers have published race materials and past results for previous years, including 2026 medals, bibs, and overall results.
