The Great 5k Pumpkin Run Event - Lonoke, AR
The event takes place at the Train Depot in Lonoke and includes a chip timed 5K race, a 1 mile family trot and a virtual 5K. The 5K runs on a USATF certified course that winds through Lonoke neighborhoods and returns to the finish area. Proceeds benefit organizations that support children in Lonoke.
Registration opens on May 1. Early in-person pricing is in place with a lower fee before mid August, increased fees through September, and a higher fee on race day. The 1 mile family trot has a separate fee for youth and includes a youth shirt, a participation medal and a pumpkin; parents may participate without a fee.
Packet pickup is offered at an early location in Little Rock on September 24 and at the Train Depot in Lonoke the day before the event. Participants may pick up packets for others with a copy or picture of the registrant photo ID. New registrations are not available at the on site packet pickups before race day; there is packet pickup and registration on race day.
Race logistics note that the 5K is chip timed with the chip attached to the bib and runners are asked to wear the bib front facing on the torso. Portable toilets are at the start line and indoor bathrooms inside the venue will be closed. Parking is available in and around the venue and at nearby lots.
