Spring Fling 5k - Cabot

Event Overview
The Spring Fling 5k has been held in Cabot since 1996. It is hosted by the Cabot Country Cruisers. The event includes two distances:
- 5k Runner/Walker
- 1k Kids Run (open to ages 1-12)
The 1k Kids Run begins after the 5k event. No strollers or dogs are permitted on the course for safety reasons.
Race Details
The race starts on Bellamy Street, just outside the Cabot High School Field House. The certified USATF course takes runners through a tree-lined residential neighborhood before finishing on the Cabot High School track. Participants are instructed not to park in the Field House parking lot on Bellamy Street, as it is part of the course.
Packet pickup, pre-race waiting, and the awards ceremony all take place in the Cabot High School Fine Arts Auditorium.
Registration and Logistics
Online pre-registration closes on Thursday before race day. Race day registration is available only if the participant cap of 500 for the 5k has not been reached, and it is cash or check only. Race day fees are higher than pre-registration fees. Pre-race packet pickup is available the evening before the event at the high school auditorium, with race morning pickup available only until a strict cutoff time.
Charitable Aspect
Proceeds from the event benefit Physical Education for Cabot Schools, Cabot Family Track Nights, and a scholarship for a high school student. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
