The Great Pumpkin Race 5K Live and Virtual
The Great Pumpkin Race offers both live and virtual options for a 5K run or walk in Lowville, New York. The live event takes place at the Lewis County Fairgrounds Pavilion, 5485 Bostwick Street, Lowville, NY 13367. The event period runs from September 25, 2026 to October 24, 2026, with the virtual option beginning September 25 and the live event occurring on October 24, 2026.
Registration opens May 1, 2026. Standard registration carries a fee of $35. Participants who register after October 9 are not guaranteed a shirt. Race day registration is available for a higher fee of $40. Registration for the live event closes October 21, 2026 and registration for the virtual event closes October 23, 2026.
The live race is professionally timed by Auyer Race Timing. Awards are presented to the top male and top female finishers. Costume prizes are given in the categories Funniest, Scariest, Most Creative, and Best Group. All participants are entered into door prize drawings, and refreshments are provided after the event.
