The Great Pumpkin Race 5K
The event offers both a live and a virtual option for a 5K run/walk during the fall of 2026. The live event is set for October 24, 2026, at the Lewis County Fairgrounds Pavilion, 5485 Bostwick Street, Lowville NY 13367. The virtual option begins September 25, 2026 and is available through the event period ending October 24, 2026.
Registration opens May 1, 2026. Standard registration fees are listed at $35 per entry, with race day registration available for $40. Live-event registration closes October 21, 2026; virtual registration closes October 23, 2026. Registration includes a race shirt and a medal; participants who register after October 9, 2026 are not guaranteed a shirt.
The live race will be professionally timed by Auyer Race Timing. Awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers. A costume contest will offer prizes in the categories Funniest, Most Creative, and Best Group. All participants will be entered into door prize drawings. Refreshments will be served after the event.
