The Great Pumpkin Race 5K & 10K Run/Walk and Kids Race
The event takes place at Cutler Park and the St Johns River Trail in Visalia on September 26, 2026. It offers multiple distances for runners and walkers and includes family oriented activities and on-site partners from local organizations.

- 10K run or walk, 6.2 miles
- 5K run or walk, 3.1 miles
- Kids races, 1/4 mile or 1/2 mile
Registration opens March 10, 2026. Regular registration for the 10K and 5K closes August 24, 2026; kids race registration remains open through race day. Listed registration fees are $40.00 for the 10K, $30.00 for the 5K, and $20.00 for the kids race.
Event features include a finisher medal for every participant, age group and overall awards, long sleeve Sports-Tek race shirts with gender and youth sizing, DJ music on course and at the finish venue, supportive aid and cheer stations, and a post race venue. Partners listed include Vossler Farms, Tulare County Sheriffs K9 Unit, Paradise Playland, and Rush Bowls Visalia. Vossler Farms provides a free pumpkin to children 12 and under and free Pumpkin Patch entry for all on September 26; Paradise Playland offers a free session entry to children 12 and under.
