About the race
The Great Miami 10K is a USATF-certified 10 km road race held in Coconut Grove, Miami, FL on October 10, 2027. The course is a flat out-and-back with a turnaround at Sunrise Drive and a finish located within viewing distance of Miami City Hall. The route passes towering banyan trees, tropical streets and waterfront parks with views of Biscayne Bay.
Entry benefits include membership to The Great World Run Club, an exclusive participant t-shirt, a commemorative finisher's medal and race bib, official chip timing, on-course hydration and electrolyte drinks, finish-line provisions and free downloadable race photos. Packet pickup is at The Hangar at Regatta Harbour, 3385 Pan American Drive; bibs and shirts require ID and the QR code received after registration. No race day packet pickup is available.
Pricing varies by date and there is no race day registration. Prizes are awarded to the top three overall males and females by gun time, with age-group awards given to the top three males and females in multiple age categories by chip/net time. Race policies include no refunds or transfers, a 2:05:00 course cutoff, a minimum age of 10 years with parental waiver required for minors, prohibition of strollers and bikes or scooters on course, and allowance of service animals and Athletes with Disabilities with prior organizer notification 21 days before the event.
