The Great Miami 10K
The Great Miami 10K takes place on October 4, 2026 in Coconut Grove, Miami, FL. The event distance is 10k and the course begins at Darwin St and S Bayshore Dr and finishes near 3500 Pan American Drive.
The course is a flat, picturesque out and back with a turnaround at Sunrise Drive. The route passes banyan trees, tropical streets, waterfront parks, and offers views of Biscayne Bay. The course is USATF certified.
Entry includes membership to The Great World Run Club, an exclusive participant t shirt, a commemorative finisher medal, a race bib, and official chip timed results. Hydration stations provide water and electrolyte drinks during the race and at the finish. Free race photos and a post race party are provided. Packet pickup is scheduled for Saturday, October 3 at Fleet Feet Coconut Grove, 3855 Grand Ave; participants must bring ID and the QR code received after registration. Someone else may pick up a packet with the participant confirmation and a photo of the participant photo ID.
Prizes are awarded to the top three overall males and females by gun time, and age awards are given by net chip time in the following groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 plus. Participants must be 10 years or older; under 18 requires a parent signed waiver. Race cutoff time is 2:05:00. No refunds, transfers, or deferrals are permitted. Strollers and animals are not allowed on the course; safety dogs and athletes with disabilities are accepted with prior notification 21 days before the event.
