The Great Escape Triathlon takes place on June 13-14, 2026 in Jefferson City, Missouri. This is the 10th edition of the event. Organizers list multiple race types, early bird entry pricing, and a price increase that takes effect after December 31, 2025. Overall winners receive prizes and event swag. All participants receive finisher medals and participant shirts.
Course, categories and location
The swim portion is a snake swim in the four-lane, 50 meter pool at Ellis Porter Riverside Park. The bike course uses city and rural roads to the outskirts of the new Missouri State Prison and returns to the park. The run goes to the old historic Missouri State Penitentiary and back to the finish line. The event location is given as 320 Riverside Dr, Jefferson City, MO 65101.
Race categories include Super Sprint, Sprint, Sprint Relay, and Duathlon for ages 13 and up, and two Mini Escape Tri divisions for younger athletes: Kids (ages 5-8) and Youth (ages 9-12).
