Course, categories and logistics
The 5K is one lap around the big lake and a second lap that includes the small lake. The 2K is one lap around the big lake. The Fun Run for young children starts at the south bathroom facility, goes around the north bathroom facility, and finishes by the roundabout.
Race day packet pickup is at the South Pavilion in Sunwest Park. Each participant receives a race shirt in the check-in bag. All finishers receive cookies at the finish line.
Sunwest Park requires a parking pass. A pass can be purchased for $5 during registration and will be included in the check-in bag, or it can be bought at a parking kiosk on the morning of the race.
Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers per division. The Fun Run (5-7 years) also has awards for the top three overall finishers. Registration closes on 2026-01-22; shirts may be mailed if registration occurs the week of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
