The Great Cookie Chase : Race information
The Great Cookie Chase takes place on 01/09/2027 at Sunwest Park in Hudson, FL, at 17362 Old Dixie Hwy. The event offers a Fun Run and timed distances around the park lakes. All finishers receive a cookie at the finish line. Race shirts are included in each participant check in bag; participants who register after 12/30/2026 may receive shirts by mail at a later date. Race day packet pickup will be held at the South Pavilion in Sunwest Park.
Awards are given by division for the top three male and top three female finishers. The Fun Run also has awards for the top three overall finishers in the 5 to 7 year age group. Race day registration is offered for a fee of $50 per person.
Sunwest Park requires a parking pass. Parking passes can be purchased for $5 during registration and are included in the check in bag, or bought on site at a parking kiosk on the day of the event.
Course layouts described by the organizer note that the 5K includes one lap around the big lake and a second lap that includes the small lake. The 2K is one lap around the big lake. The Fun Run route begins at the South bathroom facility, goes down and around the North bathroom facility, and finishes by the roundabout.
