The Great CO74 Trail Run
The Great CO74 Trail Run takes place in Kittredge, Colorado. The event features a loop course that begins and ends at Kittredge Park. The route traverses a variety of terrains, passing through Columbine, private Kittredge property, and the canyon trails of O’Fallon. Both runners and hikers are permitted to participate in the main event.
Participants can choose from the following options:
- 7.4 Miles Trail Run
- Kids Run (Laps around Kittredge Park)
The 7.4-mile trail course is open to individuals who can maintain a 20-minute mile pace. The adult registration includes a trail hat, lunch, post-race snacks, and access to a sauna and cold plunge in Bear Creek. The event also provides running club support on specific dates in March and April at the park to help participants prepare for the route.
The Kids Run is held within Kittredge Park. The distance for children is determined by their age, with participants running one lap for every year of their age. Registration for children includes snacks and prizes. The gathering at the park also features music and food. Part of the registration fees for all participants contributes to the installation of flashing crosswalk signs in the local area. Dogs are permitted at the event.
