The Great CO74 Trail Run
The Great CO74 Trail Run is a community trail event on 05/09/2026 in Kittredge, Colorado, centered at Kittredge Park. The advertised route runs Kittredge Park → Columbine → Private Kittredge Land → O’Fallon → back to the park. The event includes both a main trail race and a separate kids run.

The main trail race is timed manually using a tripod timer and is not chip timed; all participants receive bibs. Starts are organized in three cohorts of 25 participants to comply with O’Fallon Park entry guidelines. Runners and hikers are both welcome; hikers are asked to maintain a steady 20 minute per mile pace so the group can finish together. Prize categories will be announced prior to race day.
Ticket inclusions differ by category. Adult tickets list a trail hat, running club support before the event, lunch, post-race rehydration and snacks, a post run sauna and cold plunge in bear creek, local discounts, and a donation to flashing crosswalk signs. Kid tickets include snacks, prizes, a donation to flashing crosswalk signs, and run laps based on age.
Run club meet dates are scheduled for March 29, April 12, and April 26. Organizers are also seeking volunteers. Post-race activity at Kittredge Park will include food, drinks, music, and a kids run. Dogs are welcome. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
