Santa's Dash for Cash

Santa's Dash for Cash is an annual running event held in Denver, Colorado. The course is situated at the south side of Sloan Lake Park, starting at the intersection of Utica Street and West 17th Avenue. This event serves as an official qualifier for the BolderBoulder.

The event features a single primary distance:

5k

The 5k run is chip-timed, and the organizers provide performance-based awards for participants in this category. All registrants for the 5k receive an event t-shirt and a Santa hat or headband. Additionally, participants have access to GPS tracking and results reporting through the RaceJoy application.

Every finisher receives a prize envelope at the finish line. While all envelopes contain a bonus, some include cash prizes, with at least one envelope containing $100. The event also features a raffle on race day. Attendees can earn entry into this raffle by bringing in-kind donations such as new winter coats, hats, mittens, or gift cards for the designated charity partner, Bethany Foster Services.

A shoe donation program is also available on-site. In partnership with Sneakers4Funds, participants can donate new or gently used athletic shoes to support Growing Home.
