Event overview
Santa's Dash for Ca$h takes place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, in Denver, CO (80204). The event is centered on a chip-timed 5k run. Every finisher receives a prize envelope at the finish line; some envelopes contain cash and at least one envelope includes $100. The 5k is eligible for performance-based awards. The race start and finish are on the south side of Sloan Lake Park at Utica Street and West 17th Avenue, Denver, CO 80204. Registration price listed is $39, with a price increase after October 31, 2025. All 5k participants receive RaceJoy GPS tracking and results reporting, a chip time, an event tee shirt, and a Santa hat or headband. Advanced packet pick up is available. The event partners with Bethany Foster Services; bringing in-kind donations (for example new winter coats, hats, mittens, or Target gift cards) enters donors into a race day raffle. The event also accepts gently used or new athletic shoe donations through Sneakers4Funds at Central Park, which supports Growing Home. A course map is available via MapMyRun.
