Great Chalfield 10K
The Great Chalfield 10K is a 10 km road race held on 25 June 2026. The course starts and finishes in Broughton Gifford and runs out past Holt Manor to Great Chalfield House. The event is measured to UKA standards and supports the Broughton Gifford and Holt Scout Group.
Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female finishers, and in veteran categories V40, V50, V60 and V70 for both sexes. There is a prize for the first Broughton Gifford male and female. All finishers receive a medal.
Facilities at the venue include toilets, one water station on course, first aid cover and public liability insurance. Parking is on The Common near Broughton Gifford Village Hall. Registration and race number collection take place at Broughton Gifford Village Hall. Race numbers should be attached to the front of the runner's top and be clearly visible at the finish.
Entry is limited to 200 places. All runners must be aged 16 or over on the day. Roads on the route will not be closed and dogs are not permitted. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Bone conduction headphones are allowed at the discretion of the Race Director. Entries close on 20 June 2026 or earlier if the entry limit is reached; there are no entries on the day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
