Event overview
The Great Chalfield 10K is a road race held on 25 June 2026. The course starts and finishes in Broughton Gifford and passes Holt Manor and Great Chalfield House. The event supports Broughton Gifford and Holt Scout Group. Prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers and in veteran categories V40, V50, V60 and V70 for both sexes. All finishers receive a medal.
Location, route and facilities
The event base is Broughton Gifford Village Hall, Wiltshire SN12 8PN. Facilities listed include toilets, one water station, first aid cover and public liability insurance. Parking is on The Common near the village hall. A GPX file for the route is available.
Entry, restrictions and fees
Race entries are limited to a total of 200 places and are open until 20 June 2026 or until the limit is reached. There will be no entries on the day. Entry fees are £22 for affiliated runners and £24 for unattached runners (age 16 and over). Merchandise available for collection on race day includes a buff (£5), bib clips (£6) and a mug (£7.50).
Restrictions: runners must be aged 16 or over, no dogs are allowed, the course is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs, and headphones or bone conduction headphones are not permitted. Roads on the course will not be closed. Race numbers must be worn on the front of the top and visible at the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
