Great Chalfield 10K
The Great Chalfield 10 km is a road race on 25 June 2026 that starts and finishes in Broughton Gifford. The course leads out from the village toward Holt Manor and Great Chalfield House. The event supports the Broughton Gifford and Holt Scout Group.
Prizes are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female finishers, with veteran categories V40, V50, V60 and V70 for both sexes. A medal is provided to all finishers.
Facilities listed for the event include toilets, one water station, first aid cover and public liability insurance. Race numbers must be secured to the front of the runner's top and clearly visible at the finish. Registration and race-number collection take place at Broughton Gifford Village Hall, Broughton Gifford, Wiltshire SN12 8PN.
Parking is on The Common near the village hall. Organisers note that no roads will be closed for the event and that the course is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Dogs are not allowed and the use of headphones or bone conduction headphones is prohibited. All competitors must be aged 16 or over on the day. Entries are limited to 200 places and will close on 20 June 2026 or earlier if the limit is reached; there are no entries on the day.
