Great Chalfield 10K
The Great Chalfield 10 km is a road race held on 24 June 2027 that starts and finishes in Broughton Gifford and passes Holt Manor and Great Chalfield House. The course is measured to UKA standards and the event supports the Broughton Gifford and Holt Scout Group.
The location for race day activities is Broughton Gifford Village Hall, Broughton Gifford, Wiltshire SN12 8PN. Facilities listed include toilets, one water station, first aid cover and public liability insurance. Parking is provided on The Common close to the village hall. The event has a maximum of 200 places.
Prize categories include first, second and third male and female, age-category prizes for V40, V50, V60 and V70 male and female, and awards for the first Broughton Gifford male and female. All finishers receive a medal.
Entry is restricted to runners aged 16 and over on race day. Roads on the route remain open to traffic. Dogs are not permitted and the course is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Bone conduction headphones are permitted at the discretion of the Race Director. Entries are open until 17 June 2027 or until the event reaches its limit; there are no entries on the day.
Registration and race number collection take place at Broughton Gifford Village Hall. Race numbers must be secured to the front of the runner's top. Entry fees are shown as £23.00 affiliated and £25.00 unattached for ages 16 and over. Merchandise listed includes a buff for £5.00 and bib clips for £6.00, to be collected on race day.
