Event details
The Great Chalfield 10K is a road race held on 25 June 2026. The course starts and finishes in Broughton Gifford and leads out to Holt Manor and Great Chalfield House. The event raises support for Broughton Gifford and Holt Scout Group.
Prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers and in the V40, V50, V60 and V70 age categories. All finishers receive a medal.
Logistics and rules
The event base is Broughton Gifford Village Hall, Broughton Gifford, Wiltshire SN12 8PN. Facilities include toilets, one water station, first aid cover and public liability insurance. Parking is on The Common near the village hall.
Entry is limited to 200 places; current availability is not specified. Entries close on 20 June 2026 or earlier if the race limit is reached. There are no entries on the day.
Restrictions: runners must be aged 16 or over on race day. Roads on the course are not closed. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Dogs are not allowed. Headphones and bone conduction headphones are prohibited. Race numbers must be fixed to the front of the runner’s top and clearly visible at the finish.
