The Great Big Cookie Run
The Great Big Cookie Run takes place at Hog's Back Park on Saturday, October 24, 2026. The event offers two race options with electronic chip timing and chip time results.
Participants receive post-race snacks and beverages, and Girl Guide cookies are provided on course and at the finish. A medal is included for standard registrations; the Green Bib option does not include a medal and directs a portion of the registration fee to Girl Guides of Canada. Participants registered before October 15 will have their names printed on personalized race bibs.
A costume contest will award two prizes for best costume. Optional commemorative items listed by the organizers include a technical race shirt and an iTab ribbon hanger. The route is noted as to be announced. Race bib pickup is available the day before at the official pickup sponsor SAIL and onsite at the park on race day.

- Kids 1 km (ages 5 to 12)
Published 2026 fees include 5K adult $61.86 plus HST, 5K youth (ages 12 to 24) $28.13 plus HST, and Kids 1K $16.88 plus HST.
