The Great Big Cookie Run
The Great Big Cookie Run takes place at Lansdowne Park on Saturday, October 24, 2026. The event offers two distances and publishes a course map that may be subject to change.
Distances offered:
- 5 km
- 1 km for kids
Included with registration are a Great Big Cookie Run medal unless the Green Bib option is chosen, a personalized race bib, professional chip timing with chip time results, post race snacks and beverages, and Girl Guide cookies on course and at the finish. The Green Bib does not include a medal and directs a portion of the registration fee to the event charity partner, Girl Guides of Canada.
A costume contest will award two prizes to participants who dress up. Optional add-ons include a Great Big Cookie Run technical shirt and an iTab ribbon hanger.
Fees are published for adult, youth and kids categories. On the event morning the Queen Elizabeth Driveway will be closed between 5th Avenue and Preston Street; street parking is available in the Lansdowne Park area.
