The Freedom 5K
The annual Picktown Palooza Freedom 5K takes place on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Victory Park on Lockville Road in Pickerington, Ohio. The event is sponsored by OrthoAlliance and is presented as part of the Picktown Palooza festival to celebrate the birth of the nation.
The event is a 5K Run/Walk covering 3.1 miles. The course begins at Victory Park, follows the bike path through Sycamore Creek Park, continues down Hereford Drive onto Pickering Drive, turns around, and returns along the same route to Victory Park.
Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top male and top female in each age division: 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and up.
Registration includes a race T shirt, a 3 Day Admission Pass to Picktown Palooza, a Freedom 5K dog tag, chip timing, and live results. The race T shirt and the 3 Day Admission Pass are guaranteed only for registrations completed by June 15. Parking is located at Victory Park, 100 Lockville Road, Pickerington, OH.
