The Freedom 5K

The Freedom 5K is an annual run/walk event that is part of the Picktown Palooza celebration. It is sponsored by OrthoNeuro.

The event takes place at Victory Park on Lockville Road in Pickerington, Ohio. The route is 3.1 miles. It starts at Victory Park, follows the bike path through Sycamore Creek Park, continues down Hereford Drive, turns onto Pickering Drive, turns around, and repeats the route back to Victory Park.

Registration includes a race T-shirt, a 3-Day Admission Pass to Picktown Palooza, a Freedom 5K Dog Tag, and chip timing with live results. T-shirt and pass guarantees require registration by June 15.

Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, and to the top male and female finisher in each age category:

19 and under
20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60 and up
