Course and logistics

All races start and finish at the Dundas Valley Conservation Area Trail Centre on the Hamilton-to-Brantford Rail Trail. Courses are out-and-back, on a wide, groomed, and accessible rail-trail with kilometer markers for much of the route. The route runs alongside conservation land, forests, ponds, and creeks. The elevation profile is very gentle - about a 1% grade overall - with the final 7.5 km of the 25 km and 50 km courses slightly downhill.

Aid stations or water drops are provided every 5-8 km and offer snacks, water, electrolyte drink, and typical ultra-running supplies. The event is cup-less; participants must carry a collapsible cup or bottle. Drop bags are allowed at the start/finish area of each loop. Pacers are not generally permitted except for safety or medical reasons with prior notice; in that case the pacer may join for the second half. Participant registration includes entrance to the Conservation Area; crew and spectators pay the park entrance fee. Race services include a choice of unisex or women's cut shirts, chip timing, race photos, and custom finisher medals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
