The trail is described as wide, groomed, and largely flat. Kilometer markers are present for much of the route. The 25 km course is repeated to make the 50 km distance.
Aid stations or water drops are provided every 5-8 km with water, electrolyte drink, snacks, and PB and J. The event is cup-less; participants should carry a collapsible cup or bottles. Drop bags are allowed at the start/finish area of each loop. Pacers are not generally permitted, except for safety reasons for participants over 60 or with medical needs (pacer may join for the second half). Race services include chip timing, race photos, a choice of unisex or women's cut shirt, and finisher medals. The event will feature a recovery zone with yoga, stretching, and a portable sauna, plus a La Sportiva demo presence and shoe giveaways.
