The Flip Flop 5K - Davison, MI
The Flip Flop 5K is the 3rd annual community 5K held on May 16, 2026, presented by the Davison Area Chamber of Commerce. The in-person route follows the Black Creek Nature Trail and passes through the City of Davison and Davison Township. The event location is 1152 N Gale Rd., Davison, MI 48423, with entrance into Lake Callis Recreation Complex included for parking for the race; other facility use is excluded.
There are three registration options, each covering a 5K distance: an in-person 5K for ages 18 and over, an in-person 5K for ages 3 to 17, and a virtual 5K. Registration opens February 5, 2026. Fees listed by the organizer are $40 for the adult in-person entry, $25 for the youth in-person entry, and $50 for the virtual entry. Adult and virtual in-person registration closes April 5, 2026; the youth in-person registration remains open through race day.
In-person registration includes chip timing with live results, a custom Dri-Fit race shirt with an optional tank top upgrade for $5, a commemorative race bib, a custom finisher medal, overall and age group awards, free race photos, and post-race refreshments. The event is professionally managed by Great Lakes Race Management. Virtual registration includes a custom Dri-Fit shirt, medal, bib, and free shipping; packet shipping timing depends on shirt availability and the participant location.
