The Firecracker 5000
The Firecracker 5000 is a 5K Run/Walk held on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in West Mansfield, Ohio. The event is hosted by the West Mansfield Conservation Club and serves as the start of the Independence Day celebration in the town. The course starts and finishes at the West Mansfield Conservation Club, runs on South Main, North Main and Center Street, and is described as flat. Registration and race details
The registration fee is $25 and includes a race shirt. Registration opens January 1, 2026 at 6:00 AM EST. A $5 discount is available for youth participants ages 18 and under. Packet pick-up is available on race day only, beginning at 7:00 AM. Awards are given to the top overall male and female, plus awards for the top three finishers in each age group from 10 and under through 60 and above. The event location is 701 S.
