Event overview
The Farm Loop - Wolds Edition is a six-hour, looped trail event taking place on Sunday 4 January 2026. It is organised by Outlast Events and held around South Elkington Village (postal code LN11 0RX). Participants may complete as many laps as they wish within the six-hour period or finish after a single lap. Minimum age to enter is 18. Entry fees range from £20 to £35 depending on timing of entry.
Course and facilities
The route is an approximate 5.45 km loop with 71 metres of elevation. The course surface is trail with mud, roots and large puddles, and is generally flat with occasional small climbs. A single aid station is located at the start/finish area (referred to as The Shop) and is stocked with real food items such as jelly babies, fudge, cake and savoury snacks; runners may also leave clearly labelled personal food at the aid station. Participants must bring their own cup or bottle for drinks. Parking is limited at two locations about 200 m and 400 m from the event site. A communal bag-drop shelter may be provided but belongings are left at the owner’s discretion. Dogs are not permitted. Medals and a goody bag are awarded to anyone who completes at least one lap.
