Ørsted Great Grimsby 10K and Family Fun Run 2027
The event is the twelfth running of the Great Grimsby 10K and Family Fun Run, scheduled for 6 June 2027 in Grimsby. The main 10 km race sets out from Great Grimsby Town Hall with routes through the local area and finishes with activities at People's Park. The course is described as flat.
Local community support and roadside entertainment are part of the event experience; in past editions residents provided hosepipes and drinks. The route includes live music, bands and other entertainment, plus three water stations and a jelly baby station.
The Family Fun Run takes place in People's Park and covers an approximate 800 m route that is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. All Fun Run finishers receive a medal and cake. The event also lists a virtual 10 km option with a medal.
Race amenities and features noted by the organiser include a bespoke 10k medal, pacers, an optional sustainable event t-shirt, free activities and entertainment at the finish, free local parking within about ten minutes walk, and free baggage storage.
