Ørsted Great Grimsby 10k and Family Fun Run 2027
The event takes place on 6 June 2027 in Grimsby, centred on Great Grimsby Town Hall and People's Park. The main race is a 10 km road event described as flat and fast. The route includes community support, music and bands, three water stations and a jelly baby station. Pacers are provided and finishers receive a bespoke 10k medal. There is an optional sustainable event t-shirt and free baggage storage.
A Family Fun Run is held in the Victorian People's Park over a short, approximately 800 m route that is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. All Fun Run finishers receive a medal and cake, and part of the Fun Run entry fee is allocated to a local charity.
Event facilities include free activities and entertainment at the finish and free local parking within about ten minutes walking distance of the venue. Local businesses support the event. Entry pricing varies by registration period and a virtual 10k option with a medal is available.
