Ørsted Great Grimsby 10k and Family Fun Run 2027
The Ørsted Great Grimsby event is scheduled for 6 June 2027 and marks its twelfth year. The main race starts from Great Grimsby Town Hall and follows a route described as flat and fast. The organiser is Tape2Tape and the event setting includes People's Park.
The event program includes a road 10 km race, a Family Fun Run in the Victorian People's Park and a virtual 10k option with a medal. The Family Fun Run covers approximately 800 m (about half a mile) and is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs; finishers receive a Fun Run medal and cake. The Fun Run entry fee is listed as £3.75 with a portion going to a local charity.
On-course support comes from the local community and event services. The route features three water stations and a jelly baby station, plus music, bands and other entertainment. Additional event provisions include pacers for a range of paces, a bespoke 10k medal, an optional sustainable event t-shirt, free baggage storage and free local parking within a short walking distance of the finish.
