Event overview
The Envious Run is part of the 7 Deadly Sins race series and takes place at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye on Sunday 18 January 2026. Entrants choose their target distance and must complete it within a 7-hour time limit. Each lap measures 2.5 km; the event offers the following distances:
- 5k
- 10k
- Half Marathon
- Full Marathon
- Ultra
Entrants must be aged 18 or over. Entry fees are non-refundable.
Course, logistics and extras
The course is offroad and contained within the grounds of Pengethley Manor. It includes a repeated hill on each lap and a series of ups and downs through two vineyards. The event is open to walkers and runners. Race bibs are issued at on-site registration. Facilities listed for the event include free parking, hot drinks, sandwiches and toilets. Medals are themed around the Seven Deadly Sins; race and virtual medals are the same type. Paid entries receive a medal.
Virtual option and entry
A virtual option is available during the month of January. Virtual entrants must complete at least 5k, receive a personalised virtual bib by email, and submit proof of the run for medal posting. Published entry fees include Race Entry £29.00, Virtual UK Entry £25.00, and Virtual Overseas Entry £39.00. A charity entry option with reduced fee is offered subject to fundraising conditions.
