The Elizabeth Ferris Memorial 5K
The Elizabeth Ferris Memorial 5K takes place on October 25, 2026 at Heckscher State Park Field 1 in East Islip, New York. The event is offered as an in-person 5K run/walk and a virtual 5K option with online time posting available after the start date.
The event is hosted by the family to raise awareness for pancreatic cancer research. One hundred percent of net proceeds will go to The Lustgarten Foundation. The course is a USATF certified 5K through Secatogue Lands and Heckscher State Park.

Personalized bibs are available for participants who register at least three weeks before race day.
