The Elephant Run 5K, Steven Michael's Mile and Willow's Fun Run
Forget-Me-Not Baskets, Inc., a nonprofit that provides grief support and remembrance items to families after pregnancy or childbirth loss, organizes a multi-event race day at Wayne College in Orrville, Ohio.
The event program includes:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 5K Wheelchair Race
- Steven Michael's 1 Mile
- Willow's Fun Run for children aged seven and younger
- Virtual 5K option
Race features and services include chip timing for timed events, finisher medals for all participants, race shirts for those registered by the published deadlines, post-race food and refreshments, and awards for top overall finishers. The 5K awards extend to the top three finishers in each listed age group for males and females. The wheelchair race offers accessibility features such as a ramp to the starting area and accessible porta-potties. Strollers and walking participants are permitted on the course.
Additional options related to registration include the ability to purchase extra shirts and signs along the route, team fundraising with recognition at awards, and personal fundraising refunds when specific fundraising thresholds are met.
