Event Overview
The Elephant Run 5K, Steven Michael's Mile, and Willow's Fun Run is a multi-event running day on Saturday, July 25, 2026. It is presented by the nonprofit organization Forget-Me-Not Baskets, Inc., which provides support to families who have experienced a loss during pregnancy or childbirth. The event takes place at Wayne College in Orrville, Ohio.
Available Events
The event features five distinct activities:
- The Elephant Run/Walk 5K: A chip-timed 5K run/walk.
- Elephant Run 5K Wheelchair Race: A chip-timed 5K wheelchair race. A complimentary companion entry is available upon request.
- Steven Michael's Mile: A chip-timed one-mile race.
- Willow's Fun Run: A run for participants aged 7 and under.
- Virtual Race - Elephant Run/Walk: A virtual option where participants can complete the distance on their own.
Participant Information
Every registered participant receives a finisher medal. A race shirt is included with registration for the 5K, Steven Michael's Mile, and Virtual Race, and is optional for Willow's Fun Run. Participants in the 5K, Steven Michael's Mile, and Willow's Fun Run have the option to fundraise to receive a refund of their registration fee.
Awards are given for the top overall finishers and age groups in the 5K and Steven Michael's Mile. All participants in Willow's Fun Run receive an award. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
