Event overview
The Drop - Lincoln is an organised navigation challenge taking place in Lincoln on 10 January 2026. The event is run by The Drop UK. Entrants must be aged 18 or over on 10 January 2026. Entry prices listed are £47.50 for the 10-mile option and £55.50 for the 15-mile option.

Participants may enter solo or in a team. Distances are measured as the crow flies; the actual route travelled may be longer. At registration participants hand over electronic devices and navigational aids and receive a race number and an emergency bag. Participants are transported to an undisclosed drop-off point and must find their way back to the event centre without maps, GPS, compass, or external help. Blindfolds or blackout safety goggles are used as part of the drop process; alternatives are available on request.
Rules and tracking
Devices that record progress must be sealed in the provided emergency bag; breaking the seal leads to disqualification. No unauthorised maps or shortcuts are allowed. Live GPS tracking is offered as an optional feature for safety; trackers are listed as accurate within 5 metres but can be affected by tall buildings or signal black spots. All trackers must be returned after the event or a £175 replacement fee will apply. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
