Event overview
The Douglas Dash is an urban trail run held as part of the 2026 Port Douglas Carnival on Sunday, 24 May 2026. The course is approximately 5 km and follows beach sand and dirt track terrain. The race starts at Four Mile Beach Park off Barrier Road, Port Douglas, and finishes at Rex Smeal Park, Port Douglas.
Registration, fees and extras
Registrations are not open yet; registrations close on 23 May 2026. Race fees are: non-club members 18+ $25.00, club members 18+ $16.25, non-club members under 18 $15.00, and club members under 18 free. A medal is included in the race fee. Participants may bring dogs on a leash; a medal may be purchased for a dog and proceeds from those dog-medal sales will be donated to YAPS.
