About the race
The Donut Fun Run is a timed, donut-themed 5k held at Alameda Point's Seaplane Lagoon Promenade. The event is described as open to all ages and abilities and is the fourth annual edition scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2026. Timing is provided for participants.
A post-run Finish Line Festival follows the race. The festival program includes a donut eating contest (a consent form is used for contestants), live music and entertainment featuring The Dancing Donuts from Dance/10 studio, local food and craft vendors, a health and wellness expo, beer and wine available to those over 21, and photo opportunities. Donuts from Donut Petit are listed among festival offerings. Additional event features include a Maker's Expo and valet bike parking.
