District Dash Dogs Donuts and Drafts

The event takes place at The District at Eastover, 1250 Eastover Dr, Jackson, MS 39211. It features several one-mile events held on a four-lap course around the district, with each lap counting toward the mile.

Events listed:

• Doggy Dash : a one-mile run with dogs; dogs must be on a leash. A unique prize is awarded to the overall male and female dog winners.
• Donut Mile : one mile consisting of four laps; participants eat one donut per lap.
• Beer Mile and Surfside Mile : each consists of four laps with one 12 oz beer or Surfside per lap; participants must be over 21.
• Beer Relay : a team mile with four beers (12 oz) consumed over four laps; participants must be over 21.
• Combination entries and a Triple Crown option are offered; the Triple Crown awards a crown and unique prize for the fastest overall time across the three primary events for male and female.

Several events award a free pair of shoes to the overall male and female winners. The site will include live music, festivities on the green, and food and beverage available from Sal and Mookies and Masa Mesa. T-shirts are available while supplies last.
