Event overview
The Dayton Triathlon & Multisport Festival & the USA Triathlon Ohio State Championships takes place on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Buck Creek State Park Beach in Springfield, Ohio. The festival includes a range of multisport and single-discipline events: triathlons, duathlons, aquabikes, aquathlons, open water swims, and open runs, plus youth races and a high school sprint triathlon. Packet pickup and the start/finish area are located at the beachfront across from the park office at 1976 Buck Creek Ln., Springfield, OH 45502. The beachfront parking area and restrooms are available; main race activity will be in the far parking lot south of the park office.

- Kids Mini Triathlon - 50m swim / 1 mile bike / 0.5 mile run
- Kids Mighty Triathlon - 100m swim / 3 mile bike / 1 mile run
- Beginner Triathlon - 300m swim / 8 mile bike / 1.5 mile run
- Sprint Triathlon - 750m swim / 13 mile bike / 5k run
- Olympic Triathlon - 1500m swim / 27 mile bike / 10k run
- 1/3 Iron Triathlon - 2000m swim / 40 mile bike / 9.3 mile run
- Open water swims - 1500m, 3k, 5k
- Open runs - 5k, 10k, 15k
Race services and extras
Registered participants receive an event tee (men’s, women’s, youth cuts available), a custom race bib, and a finisher medal; shirts and medals are guaranteed if registration occurs at least two weeks before the event. The festival provides a post-race catered meal for athletes and spectators, including BBQ, hot dogs, vegetables, ice cream, and drinks.
