Event overview
The Crusher Run - Texas Quarry 5K is an annual running event held on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Martin Marietta - Texas Quarry, 430 W. Padonia Rd, Lutherville Timonium, MD. The event includes the following races:
- 5K Run (Timed)
- Family Fun Run (Untimed)
- ASA 5K (for Athletes Serving Athletes participants and wingmen)
Registration opens December 30, 2025. Price windows are: Early Bird (Jan 1 - Mar 31) $60, Regular (Apr 1 - Apr 30) $70, Late (May 1 - May 30) $80, and Race Day $90. Families of three or more receive a $10 discount per registrant. Children under five enter free. The combined participant limit for the timed 5K and the Family Fun Run is 600.
Course, timing, logistics and awards
The route uses the top loop and perimeter roads around the quarry; it runs on gently rolling asphalt with a short gravel section in stockpile yards. The quarry is not operational on race day. The timed 5K will be chip timed using disposable bib tags and results will be provided by Racine Timing. Bibs must be visible on the front of the body. Bicycles and pets are not allowed.
All participants receive a race t-shirt and custom bib. Timed participants also receive a finisher medal. Awards for the timed 5K include top overall male and female and first-place age-group winners (age groups listed from 12 and under up to 80+). Post-race activities include food trucks, rock painting, face painting, vendor booths, raffles, and an off-site after party at B.C. Brewing. Parking is at 430 W. Padonia Rd with overflow at 10000 Beaver Dam Rd and shuttle service between lots. The event will be held rain or shine. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
