The County Marathon
The County Marathon is a race weekend held in Prince Edward County, Ontario, scheduled for October 4, 2026. The event includes several race formats and a Health and Wellness Community Expo at registration.
Both the full marathon and the half marathon are Athletics Canada certified courses, and the full marathon is a recognized Boston qualifying race. The main course begins in the town of Wellington, the half marathon start is near Sandbanks Provincial Park, and the finish line is in Picton in front of the Crystal Palace.

- 5 km 5K Fun Run
The 5K starts and finishes at the Picton Fairgrounds and follows a simple out-and-back along Main Street to the corner of Lake Street or County Road 10. There is a water station at the 2 km mark, which is accessed coming back at 3 km. Toilets are provided at every water station and full medical services are available on the route and at the finish line. Strollers are not permitted in the 5K.
A recent edition welcomed about 1,600 registered runners, with 74% from outside the region; nearby accommodations filled up, with guests staying in towns such as Tweed and Campbellford, and Picton's Main Street experienced increased activity.
