The Cookie Classic is scheduled for January 11, 2026, at Alamitos Beach, 780 E Shoreline Dr, Long Beach, CA 90802. The event includes the following distances:
- 5k
- 10k
- 10 Miler
- Half Marathon
Parking in the beach lot is $2 per hour; street parking is free. Half and 10-mile participants may pay for lot parking using the Passport app. Early bib pick-up is available at Sports Basement Long Beach, 2100 N Bellflower Blvd.
Course and race services
Courses are out-and-back. The 5k route is used as one lap for the 5k and two laps for the 10k. The 5-mile route is used for the 10 Miler (two laps). The Half Marathon combines two laps of the 5-mile route and one lap of the 5k route. The beach path is an open course; runners should keep to the right side of the path for pedestrians while cyclists use the left.
On-course support includes a water station at Belmont Pier and a finish-line aid station stocked with water, Gatorade, gels, and fruit snacks. Each station has a first aid kit and crew members trained in CPR. Course turns are marked with chalk, runner turn signs, and flags. Race procedures note wearing the bib on the front, a staffed gear-check at the registration tent, and that all finishers receive a medal; overall first-place male and female medals are awarded in each distance. Early starts may be pre-arranged for the 10 Miler and Half; early starters are not eligible for awards. Results and photos are provided after the race.
