The Color Run San Diego - Chula Vista Elite Training Center
The Color Run San Diego takes place on October 17, 2026 at the Chula Vista Elite Training Center in San Diego, CA. The event is a 5K untimed course open to participants of all ages and family friendly. The course has five color zones where participants are doused in plant based color powder. Strollers are welcome.
Event-day activities include a pre-party with music and stage entertainment before the run, and a finish festival with a DJ, music, dancing, food trucks, photo opportunities, and regular group color throws. The finish festival uses blacklight elements and glow powder stations along the course.
Two registration options are described. The value registration package includes a race bib, finisher medal, a color powder pack, and access to the post-race color throw party. The exclusive VIP registration includes the value items plus VIP check-in, an event shirt, sunglasses, an additional color powder pack, a drawstring bag, a silicone wristband, and a VIP tattoo.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the event at the venue; a fee may apply for race day pickup if the packet was not retrieved earlier.
