The Color Run | San Diego 2026
The Color Run in Chula Vista is a non competitive 5K event held on October 17, 2026 at the Chula Vista Elite Training Center, 2800 Olympic Pkwy, Chula Vista, CA 91915. The course includes color zones at approximately each kilometer where participants are sprinkled with food grade colored powder. Participants are encouraged to wear white to show the color effects and must display their race bib on the front of their shirt to be allowed on the course.
Packet pickup details will be emailed before the event. A photo ID is required to pick up a packet. There is a same day packet pickup fee of five dollars in cash; this fee is intended to encourage attendance at pre event pickup. Pre ordered merchandise must be collected on race day or at packet pickup; unclaimed items will be forfeited.
Waves are released every two to five minutes at the starting area. There will be a water station on the course and another at the finish. Parking is available with a fee up to twenty dollars paid in cash. There is no bag check, and spectators may watch from open viewing areas on both sides of the start and finish.
After the run there is a Finish Festival and an After Party featuring music and color throws. Refunds are not offered but tickets may be transferred to another participant. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
