The Club of Staunton Turkey Trot Run/Walk
Valley Children's Advocacy Center organizes the 15th annual Club of Staunton Turkey Trot on November 26, 2026, at The Club of Staunton, 62 Country Club Circle, Staunton, VA 24401. The event offers a community run and walk across a course that runs through the Club of Staunton golf course and includes rolling hills.

Registration details in the event materials indicate registrations open in September and close in late November, with in-person registration available on race day. Registration fees listed for the events are $32.00 for the 5K and $20.00 for the 1 mile. A t-shirt is included for registrations completed before the t-shirt deadline; the organizer lists November 6 as that deadline.
Packet pick-up is available prior to race day at Valley CAC, 1105 Greenville Ave, Staunton, with parking behind the building and on both sides. Packet pick-up is also available at the race location on race morning and others may pick up packets on a participant's behalf.
Medals will be awarded to all children under 17 who participate in the 1 mile and 5K events. Awards for top male and female 5K finishers include gift certificates sponsored by Sole Focus Running. Pre-race activities, raffle baskets, and post-event award and raffle presentations are part of the event. If ice affects access to the course, registrants will receive messaging from the organizer.
