Valley Children's Advocacy Center 14th Annual The Club of Staunton Turkey Trot Run/Walk
This event is a charity Turkey Trot organized by Valley Children's Advocacy Center. It includes a timed 5K and a 1-mile fun run/walk at The Club of Staunton in Staunton, Virginia. The course runs through the Club of Staunton golf course and features rolling hills and scenic stretches.

Registration opens in late September and online registration closes at 11:59 PM the day before the race. In-person, day-of registration and packet pick-up are available on site on race day from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM. A separate packet pick-up is scheduled the afternoon before the race at Valley CAC, 1105 Greenville Ave, Staunton, VA; friends or family may pick up packets on a participant's behalf.
Registrations completed before the t-shirt deadline receive an event t-shirt; the organizer states November 6 as the t-shirt deadline. Medals will be awarded to all participants under 17 in the 1-mile and 5K events.
Post-event activities include presentation of top finisher awards for the 5K, fun superlative awards, and raffle prize distribution. Awards for top male and female 5K finishers include gift certificates sponsored by Sole Focus Running in Staunton. If ice prevents access to the course, registrants will be notified by email.
