The Clint Eastwood
The Clint Eastwood is an endurance running event held at Oxley Creek Common in Rocklea on August 14th, 2026. The course runs largely along Oxley Creek on a smooth, compact surface with minimal elevation.
Participants complete repeated laps of 6.706 km, each lap recording 69 metres of ascent and 69 metres of descent. Each lap must be completed within one hour; laps start on the hour at the sound of a bell or horn and the starting corral remains the same size for the duration of the event. The route goes out to the Secret Forest and returns via Pelican Island in both directions.
Racing rules restrict leaving the course except for restroom breaks, forbid non-participants on course, and prohibit artificial aids such as trekking poles. Personal aid during a lap is only allowed from the on-course aid station; between laps participants may use event crew or other participants' crews if available. A single remaining participant must complete one final solo lap within the hour to be declared the winner; if no runner completes that final lap, there is no winner and all participants are recorded as DNF with their completed laps noted. Non-winners receive a DNF memento.
On-site facilities include cooking amenities, food and electrolyte support for competitors, first aid, and six toilets. Participants may use personal crew support, though it is not required. Race director and marshal instructions are final. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
