Cider Winders 5K
The Cider Winders 5K is presented by the Forest Gumpers Trail Race Series together with 1818 Farm & Cidery and the Rotary Club of West Ottawa. The listed edition took place on July 22, 2026; a subsequent edition is scheduled for July 21, 2027.
The course for the CW5K is certified by Athletics Canada.
Every registrant receives a commemorative Cider Winders glass. Souvenir t-shirts are available to order during registration and at on-site registration. Monetary prizes are offered to the top three female and top three male finishers: 1st place $150, 2nd place $100, 3rd place $50.
Post-race refreshments are provided at the race site, including cider and a sandwich. Draw prizes are supplied by Bushtukah, and there is a special draw for a custom t-shirt quilt.
Registration fees listed are $50 for adults and $25 for youth 18 and under. The event limits participation to a maximum of 150 entrants. The Rotary Club of West Ottawa will match pledges up to $2,500 made through the registration page.
The race benefactor is the Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre, a non-profit live-in and community-based agency that serves youth aged 13 to 21 across Ontario with evidence-based programs focused on substance use and related issues. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
